Good Afternoon! 😃  I can’t believe this is the last day of October!

Today’s post is the second part of the Rustic Modern Conference Room! It’s a treat for me to get to show it to you,  I hope you like it!

In my last post, I posted the main part of the conference room.

This is what you see when you walk into the door of the conference room.

Today I’m going to start by showing you, the other side of the room and what leads into the conference room.

 To the right of the door is a kitchen area.

The cabinets are painted Urbane Bronze from Sherwin-Williams. They’re accented with a stainless steel faucet and drawer pulls.

 The countertops are black granite with a leather finish and a chiseled edge.

Over the cabinets I added a couple floating shelves.  The shelves are simply a piece of wood sitting on top of 2 pieces of conduit pipe with end caps.  My carpenter did bolt them down just for good measure. 😉

 I added three baskets on each shelf for storage. The baskets are from  World Market.

I found the perfect style mirror to  hang over the sink. It just needed to be a little larger.  I remembered seeing a wire spool in one of the chicken houses the first time I toured the property.

My Carpenter took it apart and hung it behind the metal mirror.

 Yay! 😃 Now the size is perfect!!!

The T.V. is centered with the conference table for viewing purposes. It also is creating balance on this side of the room.  Eventually there will be a screen to drop down in front of the television for projecting data during board meetings. (Also, I plan to take the tag off the television! 😂)

 I was in search of the perfect table for under the television. I found a table I really liked with a faux concrete top.  The only problem was the top was not long enough for under the television and it was a bit too wide.  I decided to take the top off of the iron base and have it cut down to a more narrow width and use it for the bottom.

My Carpenter added industrial wheels. Then created a top with wood planks and added a metal strip around the outside edges. Pretty cool, huh?😉

I salvaged tin from the property and trimmed it out with rustic beams to create this divider wall.

  This also created a great niche for the kitchen area. 
To the left of the door is the Coffee Bar (which by the way is green but photographs more blue from a distance!!😜) I had my carpenter to replace the back of the armoire with rusty tin. Then add the chalkboard and cup hooks from World Market for a quick and easy conversion!  Now all we need is a Coffee Maker! 😂

The art work on either side of the Coffee Bar was created from wood that was salvaged from the trash pile!

The metal boxes were left over from the light fixtures.

I used some pieces I found in the chicken houses, along with metal, handmade paper and a few other things to create art in the metal boxes.

I used one on either side of the Coffee Bar to create balance.

 Now, let’s talk about this Awesome door!!

This door was stored in one of the chicken houses. I knew the  minute I laid eyes on it that it needed to be in this room!  I was so right! It was perfect!  It started out this shade of green. I’m sure it’s been many different  colors over the years but this is what was on top.

The light green was perfect for a base-coat.

I had my friend Kim from The Rusty Rooster add a glaze of Urbane Bronze over the green. Ta-Da!! 😃
