My name is Leanna Patton. I am the wife of a wonderful husband that puts up with all of the quirks of my creative ability! I am also the mother of two boys that I love more than life itself! My day job is all about Creative Design and Interior Transformations and I am loving every minute of it.
More than 30 years ago, I got swept away by the sewing world and took as many classes as were available. Since then I’ve tried to learn anything and everything I could about Embroidery, Wire and Clay Jewelry, Painting and even Photography.
After graduation, I went to work at a frame, upholstery and drapery shop.
I learned so much there because everything was hands on. Soon after that, I had the opportunity to become a partner with my mother in her Interior Design Center, The Whole 9 Yards in Dalton, Ga, of which I am now sole owner.
I love every part of my job, pulling together colors, fabrics, furniture and accessories, but my favorite part is installation day. The magical moment when it all comes together in my client’s home is exhilarating. It brings me great joy when I see a client’s reaction to my completed vision for their space!
My work has included private homes, vacation homes, lake houses, and clubhouses. These projects have been both residential and commercial, as well as national and international. There’s also the occasional wedding, prom, and holiday decorating, just to keep things interesting.
When my oldest son turned one, God opened the door for me to start working from home. I love being a Wife and Mom! I feel very blessed to be able to work around my children’s schedules.
