It is time to break out those Christmas decorations folks…
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere I go…
If you happen to run into me this time of year, normally you might see me sparkling from about a half a mile away! Yes, I am happy and smiling, but the sparkle I am referring to is Glitter! Glitter on my face, in my hair, in my shoes, in my closet, in my car, and really, just about everywhere I go. Along with that trail of glitter trees are trimmed, wreaths are hung, and all things are made beautiful for the Christmas Season. This year however is a little different for me. Several months ago I hurt my shoulder working at our house. It’s much better now, but I still haven’t been up to my normal schedule for getting my Christmas decorations up. I always look forward to spending time with clients during the holidays. It doesn’t seem quite the same. On the bright side Perry and the boys helped me put wreaths up at our house. We haven’t put them up in years. They needed a little TLC so I made all new bows to freshen them up.
The house looks so pretty all dressed for Christmas!
I love for my table to be set and ready for Christmas Eve dinner.
I love the smell of fresh cut trees, garland and the season’s atmosphere all around. I love the time I spend with just me and my family, and the excitement and joy of Christmas morning. Yes, there is just no other time of year quite like the Christmas season. Above all of these things, the part I love most about Christmas is the celebration of our Lord and Savior’s birth! The gift God gave to us, is the most wonderful gift of all! His one and only Son, Jesus, came to save the world and set us free!
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” -Luke 2:11
In the next few days I will be posting a couple video tutorials featuring tips to help improve your Christmas decorations this year. I hope they inspire you and help make your home beautiful this holiday season.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
